Fairport defeated the last of the undefeated teams this afternoon when the beat visiting Irondequoit, 8-7 in overtime. Rush-Henrietta had a 10-9 win over Penfield, Pittsford played a great game against Schroeder but lost 7-9. The Thunder won in the 2nd OT. A total of 13 games were scheduled on Thursday.

In other games on Friday, Irondequoit remained undefeated with a 7-2 win over C-C, Hilton was a 19-5 winner over Ath/Ody and Aquinas was a 15-8 winner over Eastridge.

In an unassuming way, Irondequoit defenseman, Colby Wehner sat at home and quietly signed his National Letter of Intent to play Division I lacrosse next year at Canisius College in Buffalo. "I think that Canisius was a good fit for me, not only academically but, I believe that they have an up and rising lacrosse program," said Colby when asked about his choice.

Greece Thunder (Athena/Odyssey) senior Gino Prestigiacomo recently announced his decision to continue his lacrosse career at the State University at Cortland next fall. The offensive player who has four year varsity experience, recorded 32g-26a (58 points) last year and has a career record of 82g-63a entering his last year with the Thunder. He has had three years with the Rochester Blaze team during his off-seasons.
